ABOUT
Steve received his Bachelor of Sciences Degree, Business Administration, from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.
Steve’s last 21 years in the financial services industry were preceded by a diverse business-focused career and education, and his experience has shown him that creating and maintaining wealth is seldom easy and can slip away without proper care. Accumulating and stewarding wealth requires a clarity of purpose, specific timely action, long-term commitment and perseverance especially in times of uncertainty. At the end of the day it’s behavior that will determine your success and that’s good news as behavior is the only variable one can truly control. Steve assists his clients in recognizing unproductive behavior and developing positive investment behavior required for long term wealth creation.
Stephen Bossio was born and raised in Northern California. He relies upon his wealth of diverse business experience in his career as a financial consultant and brings his unique multi-faceted financial expertise to all client relationships.
Stephen completed his Series 6, 63 and 65 securities exams. He also maintains a California LTC, Life & Health Insurance License. In 2010 Steve re-founded Magnum Financial as a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) allowing him to work independently of outside influences.
He has been a consultant to non-profit organizations and has been the CFO of a non-profit educational foundation, and helped start and manage 2 charter schools. Prior to founding Magnum Financial, he was the owner of two successful small retail businesses, worked as the Vice President of Sales for a small equipment manufacturer and Vice President of Operations and District Manager of a regional retail chain.
Stephen has two grown daughters, and recently celebrated his 45th year with his beautiful wife. He enjoys hiking, camping, gardening and just being in nature. One of these days he'll get back on the links and get his old boat back in shape for the lake. Stephen and his wife Andrea, now empty-nesters, reside in Sonoma, California with their dog (Luce) and two cats in the straw bale house they built.
